Photos of Totoro on the Morning after his return.
The story how Totoro came back would be best described by my Dad who was feeding Mochi as he accounted in FB:
"Lost and Pounced! On the second day, after we had given up all hope that Totoro was still alive, what happened was very hilarious. I was opening the cage to feed Mochi, the surviving female sugar glider at around 10.15 pm, when I heard a rustling sound from the the cardboard covering the top of the (large)cage. I did suspect it could be Totoro but I was totally unprepared when he ‘pounced’ on me! He jumped onto my back and honestly, I screamed. I quickly gathered my wits and caught hold of the fellow and chucked him into the cage. Totoro, true to form, went straight to the feeding cup and evicted Mochi. He must be very hungry.
If Totoro could speak, he would tell us about his adventures, on his day out! ”
This is his 2nd adventure - his first being the trip to my kitchen’s toilet’s toilet bowl. *sigh* My Mum can’t keep saying ” Totoro is so smart! He found his way back to us!”
When she heard he came back, she went straight down to the rambutan tree (this was in the dark at 10.30pm) and got them a fresh rambutan to feed them.
The next morning, I checked Totoro and it seems he is clear of any injuries but seriously thinking of bringing him to the vet.
